Vanilla and toffee aromas with notes of oak, nutmeg and ginger.
Becoming fresh and sweet with caramel on the palate moving into poached peaches and ripe pear. Followed by a toffee sweetness with light oak spices in the form of nutmeg and hints of ginger in the background.

The Macallan distillery was founded in 1824 and prides itself on its Six Pillars, which include its curiously small stills, very narrow 'cut' of new make spirit and exceptional cask management. It is the most sought after whisky for collectors, regularly setting records at auctions all round the world.
